I’m going to make 3 points about this book:
1. The secret is out #israelis and #palestinians love each other in #brooklynI’m not entirely sure why. But it’s a fact!
2. I’m a librarian so of course I’m against any #bookcensorship regarding this book. I get it if you’re against something you’ve read in the media. BUT if you’ve in any way liked any of my previous posts, trust me on this and read #alltherivers . At least read the last 2 chapters. They will touch your soul.
3. Throughout the book there’s an underlying truth here: your happiness and joys and those of whom you love and those in your own group are intrinsically and completely dependent on the happiness and joys of those you consider the other. And the more you deny, ignore this, the bigger the explosion of bullshit and hate will be at the end. After all the distance between Tel Aviv and Ramallah is only 65km… #highlyrecommended#israeliliterature #rabinyan #doritrabinyan#newyork #telaviv #ramallah #israel#palestine #forbiddenlove @randomhouse@doritrabinyan #גדרחיה #רביניאן #תלאביב#רמאללה #ברוקלין
