I really appreciated how #thompson is not scared of going there where it gets uncomfortable, when it gets awkward, where it gets complicated, and where it eventually hurts. Generational #trauma , individual choices, the emptiness of some movements, broken promises, these are some of the themes peppered throughout the book. Thompson is also not scared to create funny and endearing moments against the hypocrisy of #australians . The more things change, the more they stay the same.
