It’s very difficult to judge a book coming from such a personal and painful place such as this one. #linamagaia wanted to express her #frustration and the utter dismay she felt as well as everyone else from the villages of #mozambique where the #renamo or #mnr guerilla groups wreaked so much havoc and cruelty. #africaworldpress and #allenisaacmanboth tried to give outsiders something of an introduction and #historicalcontext here. Much needed, I must say! #dumbanengue is a collection of very #shortstories which do not need more than a page to take the reader into an abyss of desperation, death and injustice.
