I’m not sure about this book, les enfants. #samratupadhyaythrives in a writing style which values a long and slow plot with an explosive and reverberating ending. To be honest you, I would have preferred either an engaging tale all throughout or a short first part and then the final twist. But that’s obviously my very personal opinion. It’s also without a doubt a very heavy subject which #upadhyay treats in the best possible way. I wonder if he had chosen another topic perhaps his style might have been different.
