After a few visceral stories, #thecoronerslunch felt like a breath of fresh air. I’m not going to lie. I found this book because there are scant choices when it comes to books set in #laos . Considering the little most of us know about Laos, #colincotterill does an excellent job at both enticing us into a thrilling story AND teach us bits of #laotian history. The twists and overall intrigue felt genuine and embedded into the local culture either #lao #hmong or other. I was hooked from the very first pages and can’t put it down. You can tell that #cotterill did his homework and aims to guide the reader into the depths of the #mekong . I don’t remember the last time I was both thoroughly entertained and educated at the same time.
