#thehousekeeperandtheprofessor is everything you think is going to be when looking at the cover and reading the description in the back. No major secrets here! It’s charming, mildly interesting and adorable all throughout the book. At the core it’s also a #Japanesestory. So there are elements which aim at derailing the story into a darker and more death- inclined way. That’s when my interest was at its zenith and of course I wished #ogawa had gone all the way, deeper and more twisted. She doesn’t. However it does not prevent the book overall to be a pleasant read with some interesting elements especially if you’re into #math and #formulas .
