And here is my last mini-review of the month. We’ve made it to #greenland ! #thewilloftheunseen by #hanslyngewas a lot more powerful and compelling than I expected. #lyngeportrays very vividly the intrinsic relationship between humans and their surroundings. In this case in particular, we have #inuit culture and #greenlandic people and a sense of symbiosis with an #arcticenvironment. Inhospitable yet beautiful, tender yet raw, forgiving yet relentless. All of these describe both the environment as well as the people. Lynge made those synchronized feelings so interchangeable that it accentuates even more the complete interconnectedness between the people and the environment. This is now my 5th book set in Greenland and I can’t help to notice a theme going on: quietly brutal and awesome environment in perfect communion with equally taciturn yet redeeming people. #recommended#internationalpolarinstitute #betrayal#familyissues #Ersinngitsuppiumasaa#greenlandicliterature#literatureofgreenland #selfdiscovery#secrets #peopleandnature#KalaallitNunaat #Grønland
