A lot of the things that made the 1st book in the #memed series a great read come back in full force to this 2nd volume. Cowboy like #heroes action packed adventures and poor and innocent villages wanting to be saved are but a few of those. However there is also a deeper feeling of #selfreflection going on on this one. Memed returns to the #taurusmountains to find out what his actions and deeds have created or basically unleashed on those same people he was trying to help in the first place. The result is kind of unexpected and highly philosophical to a degree. I wish #kemal would have gone even deeper and longer into what does it mean to save these people? Why is he doing it? Who is he saving them from?
