Sometimes a very obvious and “simple” #play is one of the most powerful and compelling experiences when directed to the correct audience. To some extent, I suspect that is what is happening in #whichwaybigman by #noravagibrash . If you do not know much or nothing at all about #papuanewguinea and its mind blowing linguistic and cultural diversity, perhaps this #collection of plays could be a good start. Having said that, you must come here with an open mind. #vagibrash is a #playwright and writer primarily interested in talking to her fellow #papuanewguinean people about the ills of their society. The so-called level of simplicity in the stories speaks to the need of honesty and reckoning when talking about what affects everyone. Come to this book if you are in any way connected or interested in #papuanewguineanliterature or #melanesianliterature ! #oxfordpacificwriters #portmoresby #readoceania #melanesian #plays #dagoda
